As someone who has worked with high schoolers for the past ten years, I have known many a Manny. On practically every forum, Manny gets raked over the coals. There is such a double standard. I don't see the same sort of negative attitude against Craig or even Jay(responsible for giving Emma an STD as well as worse things as upcoming episodes will reveal). Manny happens to be one of my favorite characters. She is definitely driven by her passions but I feel she has learned from her mistakes. Her recent efforts to rebuild her friendship for Emma deserves props as well as her ability to go to school and keep her head up despite all the trash talk.
