Sat, October 8, 2005 - 1:45 AMHey J.! I'm still here. Yep, caught it on CTV and The-N. Wasn't entirely impressed. After they tackled the oral std and the school shooting issues, tho, I don't expect much will impress me. I am still a BIG fan...no mater what. Have been since Spike was pregnant with little Emma and all that. This show is corny as hell, but there's something about it I guess...cause I can't stay away. Sat, October 8, 2005 - 12:05 PMcurious to know if there were any obvious cuts in The-N's version from the CTV original. after the debacle with the abortion ep last season, and from the racy things i've seen on CTV's first three DTNG eps, I can't imagine some of those things getting past the snip-snip of The-N's censors... -

Thu, October 13, 2005 - 12:24 PMyep, i've been tuning in from time to time. it's cool...reminds me of being a teen, but in a good way. It also reminds me that the show used to have more main characters and stories and diversity. Wonder what happened to that? At least today's show has some better writing and acting on it. -

Thu, October 13, 2005 - 3:04 PMyeah, I have been watching Degrassi Old School and it gave me major 80s flashbacks with the big shirts, big hair, and over-the-top synthesizer music. I saw a few episodes and was especially excited when I caught the one where Spike kept fantasizing about being with Snake.

Thu, November 10, 2005 - 11:04 PMi've been watching all the "classic" episodes as the n calls them, and they aren't edited like the next generation. i guess they figured they didn't have to worry since they are so old and used to air on pbs, but actually the show is more controversial. they didn't edit out the abortion, joey's streaking, arthur catching his dad in bed with his lover, etc. much more real, in my opinion.
